it's lovely to walk home with a friend, and enjoy the day as it gets longer...
a quirky collection here,
and Nadia's new lamp here (made with packing paper found in fruit boxes!)
... since my last post...
soon we'll be moving to a new flat, and at the moment there's a lot going on.
I think this is a good chance to reconsider our possessions,
get rid of a lot of clutter and downsize to those few things that have real meaning for us.
and in the meantime Spring has definitely arrived here too!
Happy weekend to you all!
I've been collecting onion skins for a while now (you need a lot for dyeing wool!) and I might have just enough for a small skein.
I store them in an old - and very worn - linen pillowcase.
It's the second day of Spring here, but the sun is still hiding behind a heavy curtain. More light please!
I made a blurb book with my photos of 2009 and am very happy with it!

Thank you Ajda Cveti! She awarded me a Kreative Blogger Award, and you find her lovely blog here.
And here are the rules:
1. Thank the person who gave this to you.
2. Copy the logo and place it in your blog.
3. Link the person who nominated you.
4. Name 7 things about yourself that no one would really know.
5. Nominate seven 'Kreativ Bloggers'
6. Post links to the seven blogs you nominate
7. Leave a comment on each of the blogs letting them know you nominated them.
I hope you won't mind if I don't share 7 things about me, but I just spent 1hour and 27 mins deleting 155 spam comments from this blog, and this put me off completely.
I am sorry, but for the time being I switched on comment moderation.
now it's my turn, so I'd like to award my fellow bloggers at:

The shawl has a really simple shape, and again it starts as a scarf, or rather a long strip.
the size is up to you really, mine is about 35x220 cm - you can see it back here
Remembering Meg, I made a little paper mock-up in order to show you how it's done. Have fun!
