I received a sample pack of 10 moo mini cards - they're so cute and tiny! Maybe a little bit too small...I reckon the best format is 55x84 mm, business card. Still, I like them - and I've got an uncanny feeling that they might become highly addictive...
Then, while making some order I bumped into my first 5m of weaving - a lenght of log cabin - in dark and light blue wool, which I noticed is full of mistakes. That was the first time on a floor loom - pedals and two shuttles! - I wasn't exactly what you could call "coordinate"! It took a long time to weave, mistakes and all, but I am fond of this piece of fabric and I wanted to put it to good use, so I was considering using it to cover the cushions of a Danish chair.
The Danish chair looks very becoming. I think you must now make the lovely log cabin weaving more permanent on the chair. I'd be very happy to sit on it!
ReplyDeleteHi aj,
ReplyDeleteI am definitely going to make it a permanent cover for the chair! I just wanted to see if after a few days I still liked it...I do!
Hey, just stopping by to tell you how much I enjoy reading your blog and looking at your photos. I think your weaving is marvellous. Best wishes, Helen
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Helen!
