just an ordinary day

making some order in the sideboard
and stitching the edges of some placemats
I think I already mentioned I usually help a 97 years old lady:
I prepare the warp and loom and she does the weaving - only plain weave.
So it's mainly scarves and placemats.

I wish I could get to her age and still weave, like she does.

    Yes, me too. I hope never to retire from weaving but I do hope there is someone kind like you there, helping me with the warp.

    I do hope there will be someone for me too! Maybe we should think of an "association for old weavers in need"
    and spread the word!
