Thank you! It's just a random stripe warp(to be honest is a collection of cashmere leftovers!) for a scarf, about 44cm wide. The stripes I make up as I go, but I select all the colours before.
So far I didn't have any breakages - I use 2/30 cashmere yarn, double, with a 80/10 sett - not too open but wide enough for the yarn to fluff up when it's washed, and the result is a very light, soft and warm fabric.
Beautiful colour combination! I am so inspired by your work!
ReplyDeleteI just love the colors too!
ReplyDeleteHey Doni, what are you making? This looks really interesting, I love the colours together. It looks wider than a scarf warp.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.....is this a draft from a book, or did you make it up?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stripes!!
ReplyDeleteLooking great! Beautiful colours! And on the Delta too- how is it behaving??
ReplyDeleteThank you!

Jane, the Delta is a pleasure to weave with!
Hi Doni, how do you find using cashmere as the warp yarn? Is it strong enough? Do you get many breakages?
