yesterday here was holiday - the celebration for the city's patron saint - S.Giovanni -
so we went on a ride on the hubby's vespa to Camogli. Perfect weather!
..and no boxes to fill/move or plumbers around...
just a glimpse of my friend's house - I badly want one of those egg lamps too!
The curtain is made with cotton fabric samples used for shirts.
In the meantime I am boxing our things - how much stuff do we own? Is there a limit to one's possessions?
a lovely afternoon spent sheep-shearing with hand shears,
picking cherries and collecting fresh eggs.
The luxury of taking our time to do things - and enjoying the job while doing it -
a new week begins, and if I'm lucky one of the next days we'll go sheep shearing! - what better way to start the week? -
and this spoon
a recent thrift find - I need to change the lining, but I was so attracted by the weave ;-P
