I heart June

a lovely afternoon spent sheep-shearing with hand shears,
picking cherries and collecting fresh eggs
.
The luxury of taking our time to do things - and enjoying the job while doing it -

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, it looks so lovely. I've never used hand sheers, but have done with an electric one - was so tentative, I was told I left too much on the sheep.

Hé, you are having a good time out there!

Meg, we're nowhere near to being proficient with hand shears, it was just that those sheep needed to be shorn! and the wool was not worth keeping (not after the fleece I got in NZ!)

Margreet - every now and again I need to escape from the boxes!

Doni, a very good way of escaping from the boxes. ;-)
Good luck with boxing up and moving, hope it all goes ok.
