Perugia - part 1

a weekend in Perugia - I was incredibly lucky to find Giuditta Brozzetti's weaving studio open
- the owner, Marta, is a young and very determined lady who keeps up the work started by her grandmother -
and the weaving studio is located in an old church, with an incredibly suggestive atmosphere.

Oh, lovely, lovely, lovely. My kind of cloths... But on the 5th photo, where do the weavers sit? On by the walls on the sides? What a magnificent view, to see rows of looms like this!

Amazing! It must have been wonderful to have a wander around all the Jaquard looms. The damask runners look stunning. It's now on my list of places I want to see...
